Since 1946, Colonial Country Club has been home to the longest running PGA tournament, the Colonial National Invitational, known today as the Charles Schwab Challenge. Every May, Colonial hosts the world's greatest golfers who compete to add their name to the Wall of Champions and the Leonard Trophy.
The success of the Charles Schwab Challenge benefits from the support of our community. Each year, we welcome hundreds of volunteers to fill roles across the tournament that ensure members, players, and patrons enjoy an unparalleled experience and genuine Fort Worth hospitality.
Every year, we partner with more than 33 Tarrant County charities to increase awareness about their organizations and fundraising initiatives. Charles Schwab Challenge attracts over 3 million viewers and 15,000 fans per day. By leveraging the tournament's audience, Birdies for Charity raised $16 million for local charities in 2022.

Bright red and tailored with pride, the Tartan Jacket has become an iconic symbol of champions. Year after year, golfers compete to wear the tournament's famous plaid blazer, which has cloaked the shoulders of icons like Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Ben Crenshaw, and more.
