Scott Ebers
Golf Course Superintendent

Scott has been the golf Course Superintendent at Colonial Country Club since 2005. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy, Turf Management, in 1993. He served as Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Preston Trails Golf Club for four years before coming the Superintendent at Northwood Club in 1997. He served on the Board of Directors of the North Texas Superintendent Association for two years and was awarded the North Texas Superintendent Associations A.C. Bearden Superintendent of the Year Award in 2002. In 2004, Scott earned the designation of Certified Golf Course Superintendent from the GCSAA.

Dow Finsterwald, Jr.

Born in West Palm Beach in 1959, Dow grew up in Colorado Springs Colorado and graduated from Arizona State with a Bachelors degree in Communication. He was an Assistant Professional at Oak Tree Country Club from 1982-1987 before becoming the Head Golf Professional at Colonial in 1987. Dow won the 1990 Chapter Championship and the 1991 N.T.P.G.A Club Professional Championship and was nominated Merchandiser of the year in 2002 by the N.T.P.G.A.

Alicia Singer
Second Assistant Golf Professional

Alicia is a PGA member with experience in managing golf operations with a strong background in teaching, promoting junior golf and merchandising. She comes to us from Trophy Club Country Club and has a BA in advertising and marketing from the University of North Texas in Denton. She received her membership to the PGA of America in 2000. Alicia also worked at Robson Ranch in Denton and Oakwood Golf Club in Sun Lakes, Arizona. Some of her professional accomplishments and highlights include: *First woman elected to the Board of Southwest Section PGA * Served on the Southwest Section Board, 2004-06 * Qualified for two U.S. Women's Open - 1993 & 1999 * Started ClubGolf, an after school program to introduce golf to local junior high kids * Hosted Senior Special Olympics Tournament in 2002 * Hosted Senior U.S. Open qualifying in 2001 * Hosted SW Section JGA Championship in 2005 * Played on the mini-tours, Players West & Futures from 1990-96

Matthew Blake

Matt comes to us from Timarron Country Club in Southlake with a background in pro shop management/merchandising, junior golf programs and retailing. Matt also spent time at Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas; Plantation Golf Club, Frisco; and Shining Mountaint Golf Club, Woodland Park, Colorado. He attended Oklahoma State University majoring in advertising. Matt and his wife, Shelby, have a son, Carsen, and are extremely excited to be a part of the Colonial Country Club family.

Cody Armstrong

Cody joins us from Four Seasons TPC at Las Colinas, home of the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. Before starting his career in golf, Cody served as corporal in the US Marine Corp from 1999 to 2003. He is in the PGA program and has a background in pro shop management/merchandising, retail and junior golf. He and his wife, Kristin, have a daughter Lily and live in Arlington, TX.
